Our Business

 Hearthside Homes is an Authorized Nationwide Custom Homes Builder.  Although Hearthside Homes is a newer business we have been selling custom Nationwide Homes for 25 years through State Wide Realty Company.Hearthside Homes uses modular building systems to construct your home.  Your home is designed and built in a climate controlled environment.  This means that harmful weather never touches the inside of your home.  Each home also goes through 300 quality and third party inspection inspections to ensure the highest level of excellence!

Hearthside Homes has been family owned and operated in Farmville, Virginia since 2004.  Our number one goal is customer satisfaction!  Our experienced "home team" works extremely hard to make your home purchase as simple as possible.  We understand that this is one of the most important investments that most families make, and we want everyone to know that we take our jobs to provide you with a quality home very seriously.

At Hearthside Homes we also have access to various size lots and tracts of lands throughout Central Virginia. State Wide Realty Company was opened in 1972 by Basil and Larry Atkins.  Larry still owns and operates that company today, along with Hearthside Homes.  Sheri and Brian are also licensed real estate agents with State Wide Realty, keeping the family tradition alive.  They will be happy to assist you in finding that perfect place to build your home.
